Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 October 2026 · Version: draft
1. The service
agentstools (“we”, “us”) provides monitoring for AI agent tool calls. That includes a hosted MCP proxy, a dashboard, optional alerts, and later an SDK and OpenTelemetry ingest (together, the “Service”). The marketing site is at agentstools.com. The dashboard will be at app.agentstools.com.
These Terms are a draft agreement between you and the operator of agentstools, a sole developer based in Türkiye. The operator’s legal name and registered address will replace this placeholder: [Legal entity name and address — draft].
2. Paddle is the seller of paid plans
Paid subscriptions are sold by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd and/or its affiliates), who act as merchant of record / reseller. When you pay, your purchase contract for that payment is with Paddle. Paddle’s Checkout Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy also apply to the transaction. We grant you access to the Service once Paddle confirms payment. Taxes on the purchase are collected by Paddle.
3. Accounts
You must provide an accurate email address and keep it under your control. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping API keys and proxy tokens secret. Notify us at [email protected] if you believe they leaked.
4. The proxy and your upstream
The hosted proxy forwards traffic, including authorization and OAuth headers, to the upstream MCP server you configure. You must only point the proxy at systems you are allowed to use. You are responsible for the upstream, its data, and any credentials you send through us. We do not become a party to your relationship with that upstream.
By default we store metadata about tool calls (tool name, latency, status, error summary, optional token cost). We do not store request or response payloads unless you turn that on. Do not send us secrets you do not want logged if you enable payload storage.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- probe, scan, or attack systems you do not own or operate;
- bypass access controls or hide offensive security activity;
- interfere with the Service or other customers;
- violate applicable law, including export and sanctions rules;
- resell the Service except as we agree in writing.
6. Plans, quotas, and overage
Plan limits (monthly tool calls, retention, alerts, seats) are described on the Pricing page and may change with notice. Free plans may stop accepting new calls when the cap is reached. Paid plans may incur overage as described on Pricing, billed through Paddle. Unused calls do not roll over.
7. Intellectual property
We retain the Service, brand, and documentation. You retain your configuration, tool-call metadata, and upstream content. You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide and secure the Service.
8. Availability and disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that the proxy will be uninterrupted or that we will catch every loop, error spike, or cost anomaly. Monitoring is an aid, not a guarantee of agent safety or spend.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or replacement compute. Our aggregate liability arising from the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service in that period (excluding amounts paid to Paddle as tax). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of Türkiye or other mandatory consumer law.
10. Term and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Cancel a paid subscription through the Paddle customer portal or by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that present a security risk. On termination we delete or anonymize stored tool calls according to the Privacy Policy and plan retention, except where we must keep records (for example billing).
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where practical, emailed to the account address. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the update.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of İstanbul, Türkiye have non-exclusive jurisdiction, except that mandatory consumer venues still apply, and Paddle’s terms govern the payment contract.
